Granite Alliance is an Employer Group Waiver Plan. An Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP), or “Egg Whip”, is a group Medicare Part D prescription drug plan which gives your employer an opportunity to provide group benefits to their Medicare-eligible populations. Think of EGWPs as specialized Medicare Part D plans, which only employees of a company can join. You are one of these specialized members! There are many benefits to being part of an EGWP, versus a traditional Medicare Part D plan.
